Abstract. The experiments were carried aut on tomato grown in rockwool, peat or sand using a fertigation system without recirculation. All media were fertilised in the same way. Mineral N, P, K, Ca, Mg contents were lower on the sand medium comparing to rockwool and peat. The substrates did significantly affect of fruit yield. Contents of N, P, K, Ca, Mg in tomato leaves were similar in the tested substrates.
